IN THE MOOD, a play by Steve Fife
STUART and LINDA are 30-something professionals who meet and become intimate. During their time together, they establish a routine of meeting in a private room in a local restaurant. There they engage in a private ritual to get them "in the mood," before going back to Linda's apartment.
This goes on for three steamy weeks, until one day Stuart suddenly leaves.
But now, four months later, Stuart sends her a text to meet him in their private room in the restaurant. Linda shows up, uncertain what to expect.
The only other person who knows what has been going on is their regular WAITER, Raymond. Neither Stuart nor Linda has really noticed him, but he has noticed them. And he has his own feelings about what has happened and what he's planning to do.

Fife writes dialogue that jumps off the page. Its blatantly funny, layered in meaning and tightly inserted into the 80-minute plot. Further, his characters are distinct and palpably natural. All the performances are magnetic. Stage Raw
